Welcome to the Brownderosa Llamas . . .
This page created and maintained by The Brownderosa Llamas

The Brownderosa began in December of 1991 with the purchase of a 90 acre farm in the Leon Valley of the Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our llama herd has expanded to include a select group of foundation females and excellent herd sires. The breeding stock on the farm are selected based on , excellent conformation, overall balance, strong bone, and family history for good milk production and disposition. We feel these traits are essential to producing healthy and productive llamas that will enhance any breeding program, and for pets, packers and companions for everyone's lifestyle.
The Brownderosa Llamas welcomes visitors by appointment please. Join us for coffee and see our newest arrivals.
Our Mission Statement:
The Brownderosa Llamas strives to own & breed llamas with superior conformation, balance, milk production along with strong bone and good dispositions; to incorporate llamas into our lifestyle ; to market healthy and well trained llamas and to provide long-term customer support; to have our llama enterprise be a profitable business on our farm; and to support the involvement of youth in the llama industry.

When I'm not doing llama things, I do have a day job.
My veterinary clinic, the Leon Valley Veterinary Service is also operated from our farm. We specialize in Camelid Medicine, Surgery and Reproduction.
