We have many llamas available each year that are sold as pets, guard animals, performance animals, or as we like to call them, pasture ornaments - a friend calls them yard art. Call them what you like, but love them just the same. The non-breeding animals receive the same care and training as the show string - they are well socialized and well trained. Even some of the non-breeders are super stars . . . check out these guys.
Emma Blaze
Emma has been around the block with us - she was second llama to own, our first performance animal, second guard llama, a regular at the county fair, blood donor for the veterinary clinic, hiking/packing companion - she is a dear and spends her summers at the neighbors guarding calves.
Bolivian Silverdust
Dusty is a spayed female - she "moves like a freight train" and is a riot to show. Great conformation and a great 4-H performance animal for us. She's a great example of how useful a spayed female can be!
This is a great gelding - he was Reserve National Champion 2yr NonBreeder for 2006 and qualified for 2007 - if you want to show and be very, very competitive - this is the guy for you!!
